My favourite place

 My favourite place is the Shiva Kovil. It is a very beautiful and quiet place. I go there every week with my family.



The Kovil is very colourful. There are many statues of gods on the tall tower. Inside the Kovil, I can smell the sweet scent of flowers and incense sticks. I feel very happy when I am there.

The sound of the temple bells is very pleasant to hear. I like to light oil lamps and pray to Lord Shiva. I sit quietly for a few minutes to get mental peace.



The Shiva Kovil is the best place for me. I love this place very much because it makes me feel calm and relaxed.
